Mind Tuning was established at the beginning of 2014, by Jeremy Candappa as a means of expanding and developing an existing private practice run by Jeremy Candappa, (director and founder of Cultural Vision Pty Ltd). Jeremy Candappa has been running this private practice since 1991.
Mind Tuning was the result of a move to consolidate and diversify the type of servicers being offered to the public in an integrated way. At the beginning of February 2014, a business decision was made to develop the new brand name Mind Tuning and windup Cultural Vision Pty Ltd, and establish a new business entity by the co-founder, Mr Jeremy Candappa.
Mind Tuning was established to provide a bulk billed, no out of pocket expense counselling and psychological services to clients with a mental health problem. The service, called the ‘Centre of Wisdom’ has three 3 major components to the program. These include, 10 individual counselling sessions, 10 group therapy sessions and an optional intensive weekend residential camp. The individual counselling sessions and the group therapy sessions can be bulk billed providing the client has a referral from their general practitioner and have an existing mental health plan.
A clear objective of the new business is to provide psychological services that are affordable to clients, so that financial reasons don’t preclude people from accessing psychological and counselling services.
